Training: growth you can steer

Two sessions a day, six focus types, real tradeoffs. How players actually improve.

Your squad trains twice every game day — a main AM session and a lighter PM one, with an automatic rest session after matches. Across a 19-week season that is 266 sessions: the single biggest lever you own over player development.

The dials

  • Six focus types: Fitness, Technical, Tactical, Attacking, Defending — and Recovery, which restores condition instead of training it.
  • Intensity: low / medium / high. Higher intensity means faster gains and heavier condition cost. Nothing is free.
  • A weekly template plus per-day overrides, per-player plans and IF/THEN rules (e.g. "if condition < 70, train light").

What multiplies gains

  • Coaching staff: missing a Head Coach means training runs at 70%. Stars multiply effectiveness.
  • Facilities and the player’s hidden determination.
  • Recent match minutes (up to +25%) — players grow from playing.
  • Age and DNA: every player has an aging gene (early bloomer, late bloomer, consistent…) that shapes his peak window.

Gains are capped by each player’s potential — training realizes a ceiling, it never raises one. Ceilings are raised in the academy, before a player turns pro. And condition matters on matchday: a squad trained into the ground loses matches it should win.
