The academy: where legends come from

Academies grow ceilings, minutes reveal them. The long game that decides everything.

The founding generation of players is deliberately capped — good, never generational. Every future legend in this world comes through a HUMAN club’s academy. Bot clubs don’t run academies. That means the next Messi, when he comes, is somebody’s story. Maybe yours.

Ceilings, not skills

Academies grow POTENTIAL, not current ability. A youth player carries three layers: his current level (barely moves in the academy), his working ceiling (this is what your academy raises, week by week), and a hidden genetic limit it can never pass. When you promote him, his grown ceiling freezes — first-team training then spends years realizing it.

The weekly cycle

  • Build the academy ($3M, 14 days), then invest weekly — $0 to $50k, adjustable any week.
  • Wednesday: schedule a youth match. Sunday: play it. Monday: the report — ratings, potential boosts for those who played, new prospects if slots are free.
  • Choose one of 19 development styles (Strikeforce, Sentinel, Renaissance…) — styles build memory over seasons.
  • Slash funding suddenly and the academy takes real damage. Yo-yo budgets are punished.

Discovery: shine and the coach’s read

You never see a youth player’s exact future. You see evidence: ⚡ shine flashes in matches, and your coach’s read — a prose verdict ("promising", "has something special") with confidence that grows from minutes seen. Staff quality decides how fast and how truly they read. A one-star coach can be flat wrong for a season. Elite staff may even insist: "drop everything — play the kid."

A prospect can stay at most 19 weeks — then he becomes a free agent and the world takes him. Promote, loan for minutes, or lose him. Trust your read.
